There are a few forms of Aircon Servicing out there. Usually for Silverback Aircon, it only consist of 2 types : Normal Aircon servicing and Aircon chemical overhaul. Read on why we do not recommend normal chemical wash here. So if your Daikin Aircon is not cold after normal aircon servicing. Chances are, your technician may have forgotten to check your gas level. While it is also possible to check if the gas level is enough by feeling the evaporator coil of the unit. There are times in which the technicians may have forgotten about it. It could also be that certain parts of the Aircon is choke, which will require chemical overhaul to solve the problem.
However, if your Daikin Aircon is cold before the servicing. And it is immediately not cold after servicing. You will have to see if there is enough gas. It could also be that there is a sudden gas leak. This could be the only way as normal Aircon servicing is not in contact with any Aircon joints
As mentioned earlier we do not recommend normal aircon chemical wash. However, if your Aircon is cold before doing the Aircon chemical overhaul, and it is not cold now. Then there could be a chance that your Aircon technician did not tighten your gas pipe joint properly. This may result in gas leak. So it may be best for them to come and do a bubble test on the joint.
If it was cold yesterday night and suddenly it is not cold now. We usually will see if the Daikin Aircon is blinking light? If it is blinking, it may be a sign of component failure either in the indoor or outdoor unit. Usually for Daikin Aircon you may also check on the Daikin Aircon error code to know what error your Daikin Aircon is facing.

Daikin Aircon blinking light would mean that an error code has occurred in the system. Do check out out page to figure out how to find out the error code. With the error code you will be able to know what parts require replacement. However, there are times in which the error code is due to dirty evaporator coil. Or it could also be due to gas leak.
Isn’t Aircon chemical overhaul meant to make my aircon cold? It’s supposed to clean and wash out all the dirt isn’t it? Yes it definitely is supposed to. However when you do Aircon chemical overhaul you are supposed to keep all the gas inside the condenser unit. Following which the fancoil will be disconnected and washed. However, the process of joining back the fancoil units require precision. As it is relatively easy to tie the joints too tight or the flaring has a cut. Which will cause gas leak. Bubble test should be done after the chemical overhaul to ensure that there is no gas leak
As mentioned earlier. Daikin Aircon blinking light could mean gas leak issue also. The error code for this will be U0. So if your Daikin Aircon is facing U0 error code, you may have to check if your Aircon is installed recently or if you did an Aircon chemical overhaul recently. As there could a chance that the technician did not tighten the gas pipe joint properly. Nevertheless if the last Aircon chemical overhaul or installation is done more than 2-3 months ago. Then chances are there is a gas leak. In Which you will have to do an AIrcon pressure test to find out which components are leaking gas. It could be the Aircon condenser unit, fancoil or even the gas pipe that is leaking. It could also be a combination of a few that have gas leak.
