The price for hdb is pretty standard. However for condo and landed properties things are not so simple. So let’s take a loot at Aircon installation at different properties below
For hdb Aircon installation there are a few things to take note of. Assuming that you wish to install a new set of pipes. First you have to check whether the Aircon bracket size is right. Warranty Terms:
The product itself has a warranty term of 5 years for compressor, 1 years for parts. Buyer has to contact the respective agents if there are suspected defects in the unit.
For installation using back existing pipe, there is a warranty term of 3 months for installation.
1) The workmanship warranty covers water leaking from Aircon for a period of 3 months. Installation does not cover water leaking from condensation or water leaking from Aircon trunking.
2) Warranty also covers improper joining of copper pipe for a period of 3 months
2a) in the event there is suspected gas leak from the unit. Our technicians will head down to do a bubble test on all the joints (free of charge during warranty period of 3 months). If there are no leaks detected in the joint, it could be an indication of gas leak either in the units or the existing piping. Subsequent trips regarding this issue is chargeable.
For installation with new piping (HDB) only, there is a workmanship warranty of 1 year for installation.
1) The workmanship warranty covers water leaking from Aircon for a period of 3 months
2) Workmanship warranty covers leaking of Aircon gas for a period of 1 year
3) Workmanship warranty covers electric cable failure for a period of 1 year (condenser to fancoil unit, condenser to power point)
