Gas top up for Panasonic Aircon

A big part of Panasonic Aircon Servicing is the top up of gas for your aircon unit. For inverter units that are using R410 Gas, gas pressure is around 160. As for units that are using R22 Gas, the optimum amount should be around 60. Do note that there will be slight difference depending on whether your Aircon is system 2, 3 or 4, for all of the Panasonic non inverter units, R22 Gas  is used. Whereas for all inverter units, they are using R40 Gas.

Panasonic Aircon Chemical wash

 

We mentioned that we do not recommend Aircon chemical wash for all Aircon units. Instead, we suggest either Normal servicing or Chemical overhaul for Aircon only. That is because chemical wash will not be able to thoroughly clean the back end of the coil. Worse still, it might even damage the electrical components on the fancoil unit! Chemical wash is defined by using chemical solution to wash the Aircon evaporator coil without dismantling the unit by itself. Consequently over time, this process will cause the coil to be corroded because it will be impossible to thoroughly clean off the chemical residue left on the evaporator coil.
