How do I know if my air con needs regassing?
The initial sign that your aircon needs regassing is when the aircon does not feel any different when the aircon is being switched on and off. The air being blown from the vents may not be as cool as it used to be. When there is a leakage, the aircon would need regassing, sometimes a leakage is very minor and requires professionals to be able to detect the issue. It is recommended that you contact us when your aircon may have any of such issues.
How much does it cost to top up aircon gas?
Here at silverback aircon, we charge gas top R22 for only $80. For gas top up R410, it costs only $120.
In summary, what is done in aircon servicing?
To summarise, aircon servicing involves removing and cleaning the aircon cover, washing the aircon filter, checking for drainage pan for choke, checking for gas leaking. Finally, it involves the cleaning and vacuum of evaporator coil, vacuuming of drainage pipe, and installing back the aircon cover.
How often should your aircon be serviced?
It is known that Singapore is a rainy country, with perpertual humidity. Humidity combined with heat makes the aircon work harder than usual. In such conditions, it is recommended by professionals that your aircon is serviced every 3 to 4 months.
